A: Michael, Since you did not indicate how you intended to use this rifle, I will make the following suggestions from my own military and civilian experience. The AR15 was never intended to be a long range weapon. Unless you intend to do target shooting at a distance or for hunting larger game like deer, I would suggest a 1 - 4 scope or an unmagnified red dot (or green or a red/green combo) type sight. If you go with the red dot type sights, add a set of folding sights for back up alternate use. With the red dot sight turned off you can flip up the folding sights and see them right thru the optics of the red dot sight. Since you have a full length Picatinny rail, you can buy all of these items for this type of mount and not need any additional scope rings, etc. Another advantage you have for folding sights is the Picatinny rail system on your rifle is nearly full length of the barrel giving you a nice long sight picture for the folding sights. It's reasonably priced (under $200.00)and you can mount it at 2 different heights to suit you. 45 degree offset sights (Ozark Armament has reasonably priced ones) on the rail are quick to use by just canting the rifle a bit and will bring you up to the $300.00 mark.

A: Barry, this is the SD version. As for accuracy, it will shoot as well and as tight as you can (see FAQs from Bushmaster.... https://www.bushmaster.com/resources/faqs ). The factory trigger is more than acceptable for hunting or even non-professional target shooting (5.5 lb). The accuracy difference between 300 blackout and 223 really depends on range, wind, shooter and the actual load, at 100 yards it falls mainly on the shooter and the ammo.

A: Barry, this will be right at 1.5 MOA accuracy but you will need to find the ammunition it likes. This rifle has a thin barrel and will have more barrel harmonics than a heavier barrel model. Accuracy will be pretty much equivalent between 300Blk and 5.56/223 with the latter having a range advantage for maximum effective range. Either trigger you suggest will improve accuracy potential without question. Shooter, rifle and ammo all play a part in overall accuracy and the operator is usually the weakest link unless you are Bob Lee Swagger of course.
