The Bushmaster XM-15 A3 Izzy is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO and configured with a 14.5-inch lightweight, chrome-lined barrel. Its permanent Izzy flash suppressor maintains a compact overall length while helping reduce visible muzzle flash. The aluminum receiver features a removable carry handle, standard open sights, and an optic mounting rail for compatible sighting systems. A synthetic fixed stock, black finish, single-stage trigger, and manual safety complete this practical rifle configuration. Factory standard models do not include a grip safety, trigger safety, ambidextrous safety, or threaded barrel.

Wow this is a cool firearm! 14.5" barrel with pinned "izzy" flash hider, removable carry handle, lightweight, all blacked out... I feel this is one that closest resembles what our troops would be running with, and it's a sweetheart! The fit and finish is really superb, rifle looks really good. 1st range report is really good-very accurate with a scope & cycles everything! Have no fear!!!
