I purchased the chiappa Kodiak cub rifle from Buds . It is a really nice lever action gun. It shoots good and is accurate. I did change rear sight to a peep sight by Skinner.and it zeroed in fine. if you are a fan of...
if you are a fan of the Marlin golden model 39 22LR carbine, you will love the Chiappa Kodiak take down 22LR. It's lightweight, easy to shoot and just a whole bucket of fun. It the front receiver and barrel can be removed for cleaning and transport. The feeding tube is smooth with no sharp edges and the stock and furniture are rubberized. The barrel is stainless steel with Karacote, this makes this rifle ideal for any environment, rain, snow , 120 degrees in the shade , nothing will stop this beast. It's solidly built and weatherproof, easy to shoot and easy to clean and transport, the feel, fit and function is excellent, its dove tail grooved for an accessory mount scope. And it has rubber but plate, I'm not sure why, there is very little actually none) recoil with this 22LR carbine. All I say about this rifle is it's the best buy in 22lr in my book and Buds , great price, free fast shipping and great customer service. So in review " I'm over the moon " with the Chiappa Kodiak 22LR and I highly recommend it for the beginner, the enthusiast, and the cowboy at heart.
