The Charles Daly D-M4LE Carbine is a 5.56 NATO semi-automatic rifle built around a forged flattop upper receiver and a mil-spec diameter receiver extension. Its 16-inch chrome-lined 4150 CMV barrel features an M-203 mounting groove, M4 feed ramps, and an A2 Birdcage flash hider. A forged F-marked front sight base with bayonet lug, six-position telescoping stock, oval M4 handguard with double heat shields, and H buffer complete the practical carbine configuration. The rifle includes one 30-round aluminum mil-spec magazine with a Magpul self-leveling follower.

Just picked this up...
Just picked this up from Buds last month. The transaction was smooth and the shipping was fairly quick to my FFL. Thus far I would say I am very happy with the rifle itself. This was my first AR-15 style rifle and I know I won't be done. This rifle DID come with the detachable carry handle which is not pictured. This rifle has a lot of positive features that you get on rifles priced 30% higher. The only problem that I have to report is that Charles Daly has gone out of business as of 1/31/2010. That leaves the lifetime warranty that comes into this rifle in question.
