The Citadel Taipan is a pump-action rifle chambered for both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington. Its 16.5-inch rifled barrel features a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle for suppressor compatibility, while the Picatinny scope base supports a wide range of optics. An M-LOK-compatible forend, AR-style polymer stock, flat-face trigger, rubber buttpad, and 10+1 capacity provide a practical configuration for range use and field applications.

Q: Is there anything written that says that a threaded barrel on a rifle such as this, still allows it to be considered as California compliant? I am confused as to when a threaded barrel on a rifle is or is not allowed.

A: Hi Thomas, threaded barrels are not prohibited on rifles in CA, even semi-auto rifles. Threaded barrels are only prohibited on semi-auto handguns. With this being a pump action, there are no restrictions, so you can have all the 'evil' features you want. Stay safe & have a great day!
