The Colt Competition CRX16 Marksman is a purpose-built AR-15-pattern rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO and capable of accepting .223 Remington ammunition. Its direct-impingement operating system, precision-fitted forged receiver components, matched bolt and bolt carrier, and Colt Competition match-target trigger support consistent performance for defensive, duty, training, and competition use. The 16-inch air-gaged, match-grade barrel features a 1:8-inch right-hand twist, a low-profile gas block, and a threaded muzzle fitted with a twin-port competition brake. A 12-inch vented modular free-float handguard, Picatinny rail sections, and a six-position adjustable stock provide practical flexibility and accessory compatibility. The rifle includes one 30-round Magpul magazine, while the optic shown in product imagery is not included.
