Bud's was awesome in shipping, shipped 9/3/2014 arrived 9/5/2014. The gun itself is awesome. The upper and lower are very tight and all of the parts feel extremely high quality. The 4 star review comes from the fact that upon breaking it down upon arrival for its first cleaning, the charging handle would not lower from the gun. It appears that the groove on the right side of the charging handle is just a little too big to fit the groove that allows it to fall into the carrier group's area to be removed from the rifle. It's not a big deal, but I do figure that I am going to have to return it to the manufacture so that they can correct the defect. However, outside of this, the rest of the rifle is in top notch condition and feels/looks to be of high quality materials.

Great deal on a very...
Great deal on a very good rifle. I purchased this rifle primarily because it had all the features I was looking for at a price lower than I was expecting to pay. The quality to price ratio is outstanding. It is not in the same league as my more expensive rifles but considering it was a third of the price I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Core 15 has the best warranty in the business so that is what helped me decide to order this rifle. I wanted an inexpensive AR that I wouldn't have to change a bunch of parts to get what I wanted. The stock and grip are the same ones that came with my Black Rain Ordnance. The lower and upper have a nice tight fit, better than expected at this price point. I have had the same quad rail on an AR that I put together and it is nothing special but it gets the job done. The charging handle has an extended latch and the trigger guard is nice. The only two things I might change are the bolt and the flash suppressor, they both work well but I prefer the bolt to be coated with something like my BRO bolt or at least chrome and an A2 flash suppressor is just kind of boring but for the money I spent on this rifle I can afford to replace those two things and still have a rifle that cost under $1000.. While shooting this rifle it handled well and the brass was piling up in the same spot which seems like a good sign. Right now I only have iron sights on it so I can't talk too much about accuracy since I am much better with scopes but as far as I can tell the bullets were landing were they should have. Two things surprised me about this rifle, the weight (lighter than expected) and I didn't know it came with a nice hard shell case. If you don't want to spend over a $1000 for an AR give this one a try it is a great value.
