Wow!!! This is an...
Wow!!! This is an excellent addition to my rifle collection. I have shot some HPBT and some AMAX through it and with both I am getting better than 0.5 MOA @ 200 yd!!! I can easily hit 500 yard steel targets with factory ammo! For reloading I have been using 43.0 gr - IMR 4064 with a 168 gr AMAX in Hornady brass chrono'ed at 2730 fps!!! That's one efficient barrel right there! The leade is spot on for 2.8" SAAMI spec bullets meaning you can get optimum accuracy from off the shelf ammo and it will feed reliably from the magazine, no need to go crazy with seating depth. I installed a Midwest industries Sling Adapter (MI-SPQD) vertically on the side of the rear stock between the adjustable cheek piece and the shoulder pad and it fits in perfectly with the look and operation of the rifle. I looked at standard swivel studs and none seemed to fit in with the theme of the rifle. I bought the Atlas Bipod with its AFAR mounting kit (BT28 AFAR Kit) and it works perfectly with the accessory rail so you don't have to be limited to the included sling stud mount. For my Optic I choose Vortex Precision Matched Rings "low" (0.87" [22.1mm] Centerline Height) in 30mm and it positions my Vortex PST 6-24 FFP with a 50mm front optic 1 cm over the barrel for a perfect fit. I had to hone the sharp corners of the magazine's feed lips with some 2000 grit sandpaper to get them to not scratch my brass but now they work perfectly and the feed is butter smooth. Pushing the magazine into the rifle takes some practice, it is swing motion you have to get used to to get it to lock in correctly and it works smoothest if you are pressing the magazine release button in while pushing the magazine up, but I have had no problems with it after getting used to it. This is my 3rd CZ weapon and I have been nothing but impressed with this company. Match quality at a fraction of the cost of custom shops!
