Product Overview
The FN SCAR 17S is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .308 Win and compatible with 7.62x51 NATO ammunition. Its short-stroke gas piston system, hammer-forged chrome-lined barrel, and monolithic aluminum receiver provide a durable and adaptable platform. The 16.25-inch free-floating barrel is threaded 5/8x24 and fitted with a compensator. A telescoping side-folding stock with an adjustable cheekpiece supports a wide range of users and storage configurations, while ambidextrous controls improve handling. Folding iron sights and full-length accessory rails provide a solid foundation for adding an optic and other equipment.

The milspec trigger is...
The milspec trigger is kinda bad. Other than that it's a great gun, one of the best purchases I've ever made. Not sure it's worth the price tag for the average gun owner. It's quite expensive, there's plenty of other .308/7.62x51 guns out there for much better price points.\\r\ \\r\ If you're an avid gun collector/shooter I'd say it's worth it, but if you're just starting out in the gun world I would avoid purchasing this for a long time. It's an investment.\\r\ \\r\ You have to take into consideration also the optic you are going to choose. The "best" optics for this gun can also be very pricey. Spending 3k on a gun and then spending 1.2k-2k on a good optic, is a hefty investment.
