The receiver cover, barrel band, and carbine-style buttplate feature a polished silver-toned finish, while the receiver cover carries floral engraving with 24K gold-plated and raised-relief Second Amendment and NRA imagery. An external hammer with an internal transfer bar provides the rifle’s standard safety system.

I purchased the Henry NRA commemorative .22 from Buds ordering and delivery to my FFL was a snap.\r The gun it self is a beauty it hanging over my desk as I speak. I've had it out at the range\r the lever action is very smooth. It has buckhorn iron sights and even with my old eye's grouped around an inch at 25 yards.\r Ill try longer when it gets warmer. It's made in Americas and you get what you pay for.
