The Henry SPD HUSH H012MH is a modern lever-action rifle designed specifically for suppressed shooting. Its 16.5-inch match-grade 416R stainless steel barrel is wrapped in a tension-loaded carbon fiber sleeve that maintains a generous air gap to reduce weight, promote cooling, and help preserve accuracy as temperatures change. The threaded muzzle accepts a compatible suppressor, while the closed lever-action receiver provides a natural suppressor-host configuration. A skeletonized aluminum M-LOK forearm keeps the rifle streamlined and makes it easy to attach accessories. The forged carbon fiber Picatinny rail is ready for a user-selected optic. A matte dark gray American hardwood laminate buttstock, checkering, and rubber recoil pad retain the familiar feel of a traditional lever gun while improving handling and shooting comfort. If looks could kill...
If looks could kill this lever gun might do it. The fit and function of the rifle are superb. Its balance is rear heavy to account for a suppressor hanging off the front. It handles well. When they designed this thing the knew what they were doing. I personally haven't had a chance to live fire it but I've had no malfunctions cycling dummy rounds. I understand that the rifle was intended to exclusively be a suppressor host so there would most likely be some form of optic on it but for the price tag it would have been nice to include some form of backup irons on it.
