Accuracy was excellent, no scope just open sights. Planning to start taking grandsons hunting soon and this will be the perfect rifle for them to take their first deer. Been looking for this rifle for two years. My state went to straight wall rifle two years ago. I like the Henry brand, but could not find one. I had to buy another brand to hunt with for the last couple of years. Furthermore, I had notification set on 5 different sites. Buds was the first one that I was able to be the first to catch when it was in inventory. First time Gun buyer at Bud, but not my last. I found the process to be fast and very easy. Pick out what you want, pay, ship to a local preapproved FFL, and wait for his call a few days later. Rifle arrived in perfect condition, nice wood and nice finish on both metal and wood.
