The Howa HCR HCRA73102 APC is a right-handed bolt-action rifle chambered for .308 Win and 7.62x51 NATO. It combines a Howa 1500 barreled action with a 24-inch heavy, free-floating barrel, a black aluminum chassis, and an adjustable Luth-AR MBA-4 buttstock. The two-stage H.A.C.T. trigger supports controlled shooting, while the three-position manual safety provides familiar handling. A free-float M-LOK forend, AR-15-style grip, threaded muzzle with thread protector, and detachable 10-round magazine complete the practical chassis-rifle configuration.

Great chassis, smooth bolt, crisp trigger. A bit on the heavy side. Great shooting rifle. Pair it with a nice scope and bipod then you have a solid platform.

I love this gun!...
I love this gun! Accurate, looks great, very little recoil, just a very nice rifle. The only thing I will say is the stock requires a decent amount of shimming, because it has A LOT of slop (which was honestly kind of disappointing, but easy fix).

This rifle came with a slight flaw that happened during manufacture. No fault of buds. The rifle is perfectly accurate, and the action is buttery smooth. Just know, that if there is a warrantable issue, you have no recourse except to return the rifle, because these are imported. The company that makes the chassis is in Australia, and cannot ship individual parts to the United States.
