Product Overview
The Howa HCRL93102 HCR chassis rifle combines the proven Howa 1500 bolt-action system with a rigid black 6061-T6 aluminum chassis and a free-floating M-LOK forend. Its 24-inch heavy barrel is chambered for .308 Win and 7.62x51 NATO and uses a target crown for consistent performance. The LUTH-AR MBA-3 stock provides adjustable length of pull from 12.5 inches to 16.75 inches along with an adjustable comb, while the AR-style grip supports a familiar shooting position. A two-stage H.A.C.T. trigger, three-position safety, and detachable 10-round Accurate Mag complete the practical chassis configuration. The drilled and tapped receiver is ready for an aftermarket optic.

I bought this gun...
I bought this gun years ago when it was below $900 and the price to performance is outstanding. There just a few things that keep it from 5 stars. My rifle does not like cheap ammo or light ammo. With 175 gr Federal Sierra MK I was able to get .25 MOA. The bolt is not as smooth either. At times kinda 'sticky'. Maybe with more shooting it will smooth out. Regardless, it's a keeper for sure.
