I wanted a short...
I wanted a short lightweight rifle to use for deer in thick rocky woods and this really fits the bill. I wasn't sure how well a super lightweight rifle would shoot, but using Hornady178gr. ELD-X ammo I'm able to get the magic 1" groups at 100 yards. I'll never be able to see that far where I hunt, but it's nice to know it can do it. With a Leupold 1.5-5x24 scope and Talley lightweight rings, this rifle tips the scales at just under 5lbs. It will make hunting much more enjoyable for this 70 year old. Great job as always by Bud's.
