The IWI Tavor SAR Flattop is a compact bullpup rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO, combining a 16.5-inch cold hammer forged, chrome-lined CrMoV steel barrel with a long-stroke gas piston system and closed rotating bolt. Its bullpup configuration places the action behind the trigger, preserving rifle-length performance in a maneuverable package. A full-length MIL-STD Picatinny top rail supports optics, while the rifle also includes a short 45-degree accessory rail and folding iron sights. The OD Green reinforced polymer stock and NATO STANAG magazine compatibility complete a durable, adaptable configuration.

The IWI Tavor is my...
The IWI Tavor is my first bullpup rifle and I have to say that I was not disappointed. Even with the 16 inch barrel is overall shorter than the M4. I won't say it feels lighter than the M4, but because the weight of the weapon its mostly on the rear it feels easier to handle. The trigger pull feels a hair tighter than the M4, but being my first non AR platform this is perhaps a product of my imagination. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, which by the way is my second with Bud's. I am very pleased with their service as well, and will be looking forward to purchase more products.

My first bullpup...
My first bullpup rifle. IWI got it right with this gun. Light weight, low recoil, accurate at distance, reliable, and comfortable to shoot. Easily my son's favorite .223/5.56 NATO rifle. I wasn't so sure about it when we first got it. But after more than 3500 rounds with no misfires, stove pipes, or any hangups what so ever, I've become a huge fan. Easy take down for cleaning, quickly able to switch from right to left shooter ( my son's a lefty) and w/a red dot sight, highly accurate. Nice nice rifle.
