The Knight's Armament SR-15 E3 is a semi-automatic 5.56 NATO rifle built around a 16-inch hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel with a 1:7 twist. Its mid-length URX free-floating handguard provides an integrated Picatinny rail for mounting optics and accessories while preserving the rifle's integral folding front sight. The E3 system adds an ambidextrous control layout, improved multi-lug bolt, ambidextrous bolt catch and magazine release, and an ambidextrous safety selector. A two-stage match trigger, adjustable SOCOM-style stock, integrated sling mounts, and gloved-finger trigger guard complete the field-ready configuration.
