The Live Free Armory LF-9 Challenger is a 9mm pistol caliber carbine built around a straight blowback operating system. Its billet 6061-T6 aluminum receiver set is paired with a 16-inch black nitride 4150 chrome moly vanadium steel barrel and a lightweight 15-inch M-LOK free-float handguard. The rifle accepts Glock G17 and G19 pattern magazines and includes one 17-round magazine, providing a 17+1 capacity. A six-position collapsible stock, Battle Link Minimalist stock, Thril Rugged Tactical grip, A2 flash hider, and last-round bolt hold open complete the practical AR-style configuration.
