The LWRCI IC-A5 is a 5.56 NATO semi-automatic modern sporting rifle built around LWRCI's self-regulating short-stroke gas piston system. Its two-position adjustable gas block lets the shooter tune the rifle for suppressed or unsuppressed use, while the 16.1-inch NiCorr-treated cold hammer forged spiral-fluted barrel helps reduce weight and manage heat during extended shooting. The rifle features a fully ambidextrous lower receiver with bilateral bolt catch and release, magazine release, and fire-control access. A nickel-boron-coated bolt carrier enhances durability and corrosion resistance. The IC-A5 includes LWRCI Skirmish backup iron sights, an ambidextrous charging handle, an adjustable compact stock, a Magpul MOE+ grip, and an LWRCI High Efficiency 4-Prong Flash Hider. The factory barrel is threaded for the included flash hider and the rifle's top rail supports the addition of an optic.
