The Marlin 1895GBL Guide Gun is a compact lever-action rifle chambered in .45-70 Govt. Its 19.1-inch barrel and 37.25-inch overall length provide a practical configuration for woods carry and close-to-medium-range field use. The large-loop lever is easy to operate while wearing gloves, and the full-length tubular magazine holds six rounds. A durable two-tone brown laminate stock improves weather resistance, while the blue finish, nickel-plated bolt, and deep-cut Ballard-type rifling complete the rugged configuration. The rifle is equipped with a brass-bead ramp front sight and an adjustable semi-buckhorn folding rear sight.

Had to send it back to...
Had to send it back to Ruger Marlin. The hand guard was loose and the forend tip tenon screws were buggered up. I've gotten a lot of lemons from Bud's Gun Shop. Hopefully Ruger Marlin will make it right.
