Product Overview
The Remington 700 MDT Tactical is a bolt-action precision rifle chambered in .308 Win and 7.62x51 NATO. Its stainless steel barreled action is protected by a black Cerakote finish, while the 24-inch varmint-profile barrel provides a stable platform for accurate fire. The MDT TAC21 chassis combines a lightweight Mil-Spec Type III anodized aluminum structure with a full-length top rail, adjustable Magpul PRS stock, and pistol grip. An AAC 51-T ratchet mount muzzle brake helps reduce recoil, and the rifle's X-Mark Pro externally adjustable trigger is factory set to 3.5 pounds. The optic-ready configuration is supplied without factory sights and ships in a hard case.

This rifle shoots 1/4...
This rifle shoots 1/4 MOA shot groups. I zeroed this rifle at 100 yards and placed 7 shots all within a 1/4 shot group. I like the fact that the barrel, bolt, and buttstock are in direct line with each other. The recoil is manageable and you can feel the concussion of the bullet as it leaves the barrel. The only issue I had was the lever that locks the stock to the receiver works it's was loose and I had to constantly make sure that it was still secure. I ordered the MDT V4 buttstock to eliminate the issue. Overall I love this rifle.
