Description
Product Overview
The Remington 700P is a precision-oriented tactical bolt-action rifle built around the proven Model 700 short-action receiver. Its machined ordnance steel receiver, full-length aircraft aluminum bedding block, and Kevlar and fiberglass-reinforced H-S Precision composite stock provide a stable platform for consistent long-range performance. The 20-inch free-float heavy barrel features 5R rifling, a 1:11.25 twist rate, and 5/8x24 TPI muzzle threads with a thread protector. A Badger Ordnance one-piece Picatinny rail is installed for mounting a riflescope or other compatible optic. The rifle uses a four-round hinged floorplate magazine and has a non-reflective black finish.

This Rem 700 Police is...
This Rem 700 Police is exactly what I wanted. I cant say how it shoots because I haven't shot it yet, but as far as everything else goes I couldn't be happier. The 40x trigger is fantastic, The badger ordnance rail is top quality, and the finish on the barrel and receiver is excellent. I thought the stock might not look very pleasing but I was wrong, the black webbing on black stock looks great with black accessories. I like the oversized bolt knob much better that the factory Rem 700 bolt knob. My only gripe about this purchase is that the bolt knob went through the bubble wrap that it was packaged in and was banging against the thread protector during shipping. the thread protector is scuffed up and there is scratches in the finish on the bottom side of the bolt knob but since it is on the bottom it doesn't bother me so much. This is my 3rd firearm purchase from Buds and everyone of them have been great. I got what I wanted and the shipping was fast. Thank you guys very much!
