Description

Product Overview

The Remington Model 700 Gen 2 5-R is a precision-oriented bolt-action rifle built around the proven Model 700 receiver. Its cold hammer-forged, fluted barrel uses 5-R rifling to reduce bullet deformation and fouling while supporting consistent accuracy and extended barrel life. The 24-inch barrel is threaded 5/8x24 for compatible muzzle devices and suppressors. An H.S. Precision composite stock with a full-length aluminum bedding block helps maintain stability from shot to shot, while the dual front swivel studs provide convenient mounting points for a bipod and sling. The externally adjustable X-Mark Pro trigger allows the shooter to tune the trigger pull to personal preference. The rifle is chambered in .308 Win and uses a dependable internal magazine with a hinged floorplate.
