The Rock River Arms LAR-15 CAR A4 is a versatile semi-automatic rifle built around forged aluminum receivers and a mid-length gas system. Its flat-top A4 upper receiver and same-plane railed gas block provide a flexible foundation for user-selected sights or optics. A lightweight 16-inch chrome moly barrel features a 1:9 twist and is threaded 1/2x28 with an A2 flash hider. The rifle combines a six-position RRA Tactical CAR stock, overmolded A2 pistol grip, mid-length handguard, and RRA two-stage trigger for practical handling and consistent trigger control. Chambered in 5.56 NATO, it also accepts .223 Remington ammunition.

Very accurate right...
Very accurate right out of the gate. Attached ultradyne front on railed gas block with Arms rear and was dead on with no adjustment needed! Upgraded to Arms SIR rail, no fitment issues. Trigger is great/no need to upgrade! I usually SSA-E most everything but no need on this rifle. Wish it had milspec receiver extension, that was only fault and that's honestly a minor issue. BCG properly staked, I changed to vltor imod commercial.

I purchased one of these a few weeks ago from Bud's. I added a Trijicon 3.25 MOA red dot sight to it along with Magpul MBUS Pro steel flip up sights. I absolutely love this rifle. It is very accurate and has been 100% flawless. I would highly recommend Rock River AR's.

I have other RRA's and...
I have other RRA's and a Colt AR-15's. The RRA's have always been my favorites and this is no exception. I like the base models that don't come with a lot of exspensive parts I don't want. I have changed out the buttstock, added a ambi safetey, low profile gas block, free float handguard and 2x7 Leupold scope and this is exactly what I wanted. So far I have shot it to 200 yards with a bipod with excellent results. I am very happy with my purchase and will probably add more RRA's to my collection.
