The Rock River Arms LAR-PDS Carbine is a piston-driven AR-15-pattern rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO and capable of accepting .223 Remington ammunition. Its adjustable gas piston system replaces the traditional direct-impingement operating system, while the proprietary upper receiver uses an over-the-barrel spring and guide rod arrangement. A 16-inch chrome moly barrel features a 1:9 twist rate, 1/2x28 threading, and an A2 flash hider. The rifle includes a full-length top rail, aluminum tri-rail handguard, side-folding six-position tactical buttstock, Hogue rubber pistol grip, and Rock River Arms two-stage trigger. Finished in black, it weighs 7.4 pounds and measures 37.75 inches overall.
