I have over a dozen...
I have over a dozen 10/22s and like them, but this one was a disappointment. The gun wouldn't fire out of the box. The problem was an incorrectly installed safety at the factory and an easy fix but so much for QC at Ruger these days .Buds as always was great.

So, I used to be a...
So, I used to be a caliber snob and didn't give the .22 the proper respect it deserves. After buying a few boxes and stocking up on .22s I decided I needed something to shoot the caliber and decided on this rifle. I wanted something a little bit more flashy than the regular synthetic or the wood stock and decided to get the navy camo. Wanted the acu pattern, but given the huge price difference I didn't mind the coloration of this one. Received the product fairly quickly. When I picked it up from the LGS I took out about 100 rounds with me to go shoot it. And man oh man do I now love the .22 and this ruger. I've always known that .22 ammo is very dirty but after firing of that first hundred, the only real issue I had was that I only had the regular 10 round magazine. So a lot of reloading was in order. The accuracy was amazing with the iron sights and standing unsupported I could hit a can of coke at 40 yards away. I couldn't even see the can! I had no malfunctions what so ever! Fast forward and I have about 700 through the firearm absent of cleaning and I still have not had a malfunction. I've been shooting that armscor .22 and even the ammo has been working flawlessly. Wanted to put the TSR200's on them but alas I put the wrong rail on it. Needless to say I added a scope on the rifle a Vortex Crossfire II and I can shoot the cap off of a soda bottle. I know now why the 10/22 has been around for ages. I am now a believer in the caliber and have become a ruger fan.
