The Ruger American Ranch Rifle Gen II is a compact bolt-action rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm. Its 16.1-inch cold hammer-forged, medium-contour barrel features deep spiral flutes, a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle, and a factory-installed radial port muzzle brake. The gray Cerakote finish protects the barrel, receiver, bolt handle, and muzzle brake, while the synthetic splatter-finished stock provides a secure, comfortable hold. A three-position tang safety, Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger, stainless steel three-lug bolt, Power Bedding system, and factory Picatinny scope base provide practical control, accuracy, and straightforward optic installation.

5 stars all the way customer service was excellent. I wanted to change my order for an upgrade and requested for buds to wave their 15% up charges and they did. As for Ruger I had issues with the rifles broken extractor. Ruger like the great company that they are took care of my issues and now I have a great shooting rifle. It's the most accurate rifle I own and good looking. Over all a great experience.

Lost a star due to the...
Lost a star due to the extractor breaking after 2nd box of ammo. Ordered an after market replacement (as it been a small problem on these) and it runs fine now. Handles great and is at least 1 moa accurate with Prvi partisan. Haven't tried any high end ammo through it yet. Feel great shooting and light enough to carry all day. As usual Buds service was spot on.
