Its 18-inch cold hammer-forged barrel features 1/2x28 threads for suppressor installation and a 1:9 twist rate suited to .17 HMR loads. The free-floating barrel and Power Bedding Integral Bedding System help promote consistent accuracy, while the black laminate stock provides a stable, durable platform. A Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger offers a crisp release with a user-adjustable pull weight from 3 to 5 pounds. The rifle includes a detachable 9-round rotary magazine, a factory-installed one-piece aluminum scope rail, sling swivel studs, and a rear tang manual safety.

The gun is awesome....
The gun is awesome. Looks good and feels good. Ive already put over 100 rounds through it and not one issue. Its a tack driver. Using Federal 20gr hollow points, i can shoot quarter size groups at 100yrds. The groups opened up some when i used Winchester 17gr hollow points though. Using a 3x9x40 scope.\r \r The only issue i have with this ruger is when i first got it the 9rd mag was stuck in the stock. The inside of the magwell was not sanded down at all. The wood is very rough inside magwell and the magazine had to be forced out and it wasnt easy. Once i got the mag out and sanded the stock, it works fine. Not a deal breaker but i feel like that should have been taken care of at the factory.\r \r Shipping was really fast too. Even with it being ordered 3 weeks before Christmas i still got it within a few days.
