The Ruger American Rimfire is a versatile .22 LR bolt-action rifle built for dependable small-game hunting, target shooting, and rimfire practice. Its lightweight black synthetic stock includes four interchangeable modules that provide different comb heights for scope or iron sight use, along with standard and compact length-of-pull options. The free-floated, hammer-forged barrel features precise rifling, a target crown, and a durable Blue/Black finish. A user-adjustable Ruger Marksman trigger allows pull-weight adjustment from 3 to 5 pounds. The rifle includes a fiber optic front sight, adjustable folding-leaf rear sight, and an integral 3/8-inch rimfire scope base machined into the receiver. The receiver is also drilled and tapped for Weaver No. 12 bases.

I bought this gun last...
I bought this gun last spring and put a Burris Droptine 2-7 Rimfire also from Buds on it. after a couple of bricls of ammo the groups started to tighten up. With bulk ammo it shoots 1-1.25 in groups at 50 yds. With good target ammo it will shoot between .5 and .65 in groups with no flyers. I am talking 5 shot groups on a still day with no wind. Very satisfied with the Ruger and Buds. So nuch so that i bought another just like it.
