Description
Product Overview
The Ruger AR-556 Model 8502 is a dependable semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO. Its 16.1-inch cold hammer-forged heavy-contour barrel features a 1:8 twist rate, stabilizing bullets from 35 to 77 grains while providing durable, consistent performance. The forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper receiver includes M4 feed ramps, a forward assist, dust cover, and brass deflector. A carbine-length gas system supports balanced handling, while the fixed M4-style synthetic stock and ergonomic pistol grip provide a stable shooting platform. The rifle includes an elevation-adjustable A2 F-height front sight and Ruger's Rapid Deploy folding rear sight, with a receiver rail ready for a compatible optic. A single-stage trigger, oversized trigger guard, and one 10-round metal magazine complete the factory configuration.
