Product Overview
The Ruger PC Carbine Chassis TALO Edition is a versatile 9mm semi-automatic rifle designed for portability, modularity, and dependable performance. Its reversible folding stock adjusts for length of pull and allows the rifle to measure just 26 inches when folded. The CNC-milled, hard-coat anodized aluminum handguard provides M-LOK attachment points on all four sides, while the factory Picatinny rail supports forward-mounted optics. A cold hammer-forged, fluted chrome-moly steel barrel measures 16.12 inches, uses a 1/2x28 thread pitch, and includes a thread protector for compatible muzzle accessories. The interchangeable magazine well system supports common Ruger and Glock-pattern magazines, and reversible controls accommodate left- or right-handed operation.

What a fun gun! I like...
What a fun gun! I like everything about it. The color, desert verde green, is awesome. It is not your standard "black gun", which there are LOTS of out there. The fit and finish of the gun are what I would expect of Ruger, i.e., top-tier. All parts were assembled as I would do myself. Threadlock was applied to the critical parts. Cosmetically this was 5 stars. Functionally, I would give it the same. There have been no failures to feed, fire or eject. Load the round, release the safety, and fire. Every. Single. Time. I did switch the mag well to the Glock variant. That was easy enough and is a very nice feature. This gun is fun to shoot too. I put a Sig Romeo 5 on it before taking it to the range. While it took a lot of effort, the RSO even got involved, to get it sighted in, it has been accurate since then. I did need to try some different brands to finally settle on what worked best for this one. Nothing surprising there though. I added a Tandemkross Game Changer compensator as well as their Victory trigger. The compensator adds a bit of bling, but I am not sure how much it improves the function. The trigger though? It is completely worth the money and time to install it. At the end of the day though, all that matters is whether or not I am happy with the carbine and whether I'd recommend it. Yes and yes. Unequivocally. It is a great gun to shoot, and not horribly expensive to shoot. Or buy either for that matter. If you are in the market for a 9 mm carbine, I'd strongly suggest giving this Ruger PC a look.
