Description
From target shooting to pest control and varmint hunting, the Savage A17 excels. This superbly accurate rifle features a 22" barrel and the Savage AccuTrigger. It operates on a delayed blowback system that is specially designed for high performance magnum cartridges. The rifle has a case hardened receiver and 10 round detachable rotary magazine. The blue and grey laminate wood stock lends a striking appearance and is actually tougher than most synthetic stocks.

Great little rimfire rifle. Purchased this rifle because the shooting club I belong to plans on extending the rifle range from 100 yards to 200 yards this year.

Looks and feel of a...
Looks and feel of a much more expensive rifle. This Savage 17HMR is a real tack driver. Varmints beware if somebody in the crew is carrying one of these beautiful long guns. The heavy barrel just ads that little extra when targeting small game at 100 yards . If you are an auto-loader freak, this is the 17HMR you have been waiting for. I am still searching for an extended mag for this rifle. The ONLY draw back is the short count on the mags count. Also the extra mags are plentiful, they do cost a little more than expected. RH
