The Savage AccuTrigger is adjustable to a light pull weight of approximately 1.5 pounds, helping shooters achieve a clean release for consistent accuracy. A detachable four-round magazine provides a 4+1 capacity, and the three-position manual safety offers straightforward handling on the range or in the field. Rifle functioned fine...
Rifle functioned fine but accuracy was inconsistent. Groups were slightly less than 1 " at 100 yards but I was frustrated by fliers. I put a Boyd's stock on it and had it bedded by a gunsmith. Very little improvement in accuracy. Barrel copper fouled quickly. I finally ordered a Criterion 6.5 Creedmoor barrel and now it shoots great!
