The Savage Arms Axis II XP SS is a lightweight .350 Legend bolt-action rifle configured for practical hunting in demanding conditions. Its corrosion-resistant stainless steel barrel is button rifled and measures 18 inches, providing a compact carry profile for hunters traveling through dense terrain. The ergonomic synthetic stock, rubber recoil pad, and sling swivel studs support comfortable field use, while the user-adjustable AccuTrigger allows the shooter to tune the trigger to personal preferences. This package includes a factory-mounted and bore-sighted Bushnell Banner 3-9x40 scope, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. I bought this from BUDS online. The price and BUDS excellent service made this purchase a no brainer. However, when i received this rifle on 6-23-2020, there was a 6" scrape on top of the barrel. Of course i refused my rifle. The people in BUDS long guns (rifles & shotguns) department took the rifle back and told me how to get in touch with BUDS concerning my refund check. While i was there @BUDS (Sevierville, TN) , I purchased the AXIS XP 350 Legend. When i got home on 6-23-2020, I got on LiveChat and started the return process (or so i thought). I was told my check would be in my bank in ~ 7 days. I got back on LiveChat on 7-3-2020, to find where was my refund check. I was told my Savage had been returned, but had not been processed in. I was also told that i would receive an e-mail concerning my refund check arrival(Still waiting). I got back on LiveChat for the 3rd time on 7-6-2020. I was told BUDS has NO timeline to process the rifle in and has NO timeline to get my refund check to me. When you buy a gun from BUDS, they want you to check the gun for flaws before you sign for it. I have written 2 checks to BUDS. 1 check for the rifle i returned and another check for the rifle i purchased from BUDS in Sevierville. All i want is my refund check or when i will receive my refund check.
