The SIG Sauer SIG716 Patrol is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .308 Winchester and 7.62x51mm NATO. Its short-stroke pushrod operating system uses a four-position adjustable gas valve for reliable cycling across a range of ammunition and operating conditions. A free-floating 16-inch barrel features a 1:10-inch twist, while the M1913 rail supports the installation of an optic. Flip-up front and rear iron sights provide a ready-to-use sighting system. The rifle also includes an ambidextrous magazine release, quick-detach ambidextrous sling mounts, an aluminum forend, and a 10-round magazine for compliant applications.
