The Smith & Wesson Model 1854 is a modern .45 Colt lever-action rifle built around a forged 416 stainless steel receiver and a 19.25-inch 410 stainless steel barrel. Its black synthetic stock and M-LOK forend feature textured grip panels for a secure, comfortable hold, while the large-loop lever supports smooth operation. A gold bead front sight and XS Sights ghost ring rear sight provide a fast, durable sighting system. The integrated Picatinny rail accommodates compatible optics, and the 11/16-24 threaded barrel expands muzzle-device options. The rifle also accepts mounts designed for Marlin 1894 hole patterns.

Got this rifle after...
Got this rifle after buying a Henry 10X and feeling like it was lacking and not the quality I was expecting. As soon as I handled a 1854 in store I traded in the Henry and got the S&W. Only been able to shoot about 100 rounds through it but absolutely LOVE this thing. Not a fan of the rear arprature sight but going to be getting an optic anyway.
