Nice piece. As...
Nice piece. As advertised. Smooth. I have a number of Smith &Wesson firearms. A nice alternative to a .556 Amarlite Rifle and less expensive on the pocket for ammo. Flexible mounting. I'm using to test various scopes including some new digital scopes. My primary purpose will be for varmints and for rookies wanting to shoot an AR style firearm. This is the Performance Center Edition so it has a few upgrades that I wanted. I also purchased another 10 and 25 round magazine. Bud's was great.

I must admit that at...
I must admit that at first I was a little hesitant about buying this after reading the reviews commenting on all of the plastic used but after shooting this at the range and then at a PCC match I am one happy owner! As with any new AR15 platform firearm the first order of business is to take it apart and lube the heck out of it (and to see how it all works), grab a variety of ammo and hit the range for sighting in. I did try 3 different types of 22LR (what i had stashed away from the last ammo crisis) and all three performed great with no issues using 7 new magazines (need a lot for the local PCC matches here). This rifle does prefer the 40 grain bullet as apposed to the 36 grain round with a noticeable accuracy increase with the heavier bullet. The flip up iron (plastic) sights were spot on and while the rear aperture is a bit small for PCC competitions (purely my judgement and yours may be different) putting on my Eotech 512 worked perfectly and did co-witness with the flip up sights. While the trigger was good I was hoping for better but only because on my M4 platform my Timney 3.5 pound pull trigger has spoiled me forever. Regardless, the trigger is good with little slack and on one stage of the PCC match that required six rounds on each of three targets with a mandatory mag change between the three targets I was able to complete this in 8 seconds with zero points down (using the "insert expletive here" California required 10 round magazines!). In summation, buy one and have fun. This is a good shooter, uses readily available cheap ammo that doesn't have to be collected and reloaded, shoots straight with no recoil, is very light so you can drive the gun easily with your off hand and won't break the bank when you get it are all you need to know. Oh, and great shipping by Bud's although I'm not supposed to mention anything other than this great rifle. Cheers!
