A: 7075 Aluminum alloy. It is very strong and rigid but you cannot easily modify or repair it (read weld it) like 6061 alloy. It tends to be a bit more brittle than 6061 but has better wear and chemical resistance.

A: That is the AR that I have and I have never felt the need to change the stock as far as function none of the MagPul stocks are any better Pick the stock you like if you feel the need to change. I would say get more mags and shoot the gun like it is (at least for a while)

A: That depends on what you want to use the rifle for. Pretty much any of the adjustable stocks today will let you find a length-of-pull that fits your own shooting style, and most are very functional. If you want a nice, clean, lightweight stock, I like the Mission First "Minimalist". I use one on my "everything' AR, and have really liked it.

A: Marco, Just about any style Magpul stock (and other brands as well) will fit this rifle. There is a catch though. The buffer tube comes in tow different diameters. There is a Mil-Spec size and a commercial size with the Mil-Spec being slightly larger in diameter. When you go to buy a new stock, you will have to choose between the two sizes. The stocks are not interchangeable between the two different sized buffer tubes. Most good quality AR-style rifles come with the Mil-Spec sized buffer tube. However, it pays to check before you purchase a new stock.

A: My personal experience over some ten+ years of using red dots has been that one gets pretty much what one pays for with red dots. I've found a good mid-range option to be the Sig Romeo 5, which has proven to be durable, reliable, and has a good battery life. I would not hesitate to purchase another one. If you choose another sight, just know there are no top notch red dots available for bargain basement prices.

A: I have two red dots. The Sig romeo is on my AR pistol and a Vortex Strikefire on my carbine. Both work well for their intended purpose. If your eyes are good, then no issues. If you have an astigmatism you may experience a "startburst" effect with a red dot. If so, then I would suggest an prism scope optic with an etched reticle like the Primary Arms offering or the Vortex Spitfire.

A: For a high end red dot I would suggest the aimpoint micro, or Any EOTech. For Mid price I suggest vortex sparc, primary arms microdot, or holosun paralow. For Budget options I suggest the Bushnell trs 25, or Truglo tru-brite. Depending on your intended use of the rifle, you could add a magnifier. Also if you plan on using night vision only some red dots are NV compatible. I don't want to confuse you , but do not rule out prism scopes, especially those from Primary Arms, they are awesome and priced great.
