The Springfield Armory M1A Loaded LE combines the proven M1A platform with National Match upgrades for improved precision and refined handling. It features an American walnut stock, a 22-inch air-gauged medium-weight chrome-moly barrel with a Parkerized finish, and a match-tuned two-stage trigger with a 4 to 5 pound pull. National Match iron sights include a .062-inch front post and an adjustable non-hooded aperture rear sight with half-minute windage and elevation adjustments. A National Match flash suppressor and one 20-round Parkerized magazine complete the factory configuration.

The Springfield M1A...
The Springfield M1A Loaded 308 is a solid, well built accurate rifle. It is reasonably priced for the options that come with the MA9222LE. The adjustable rear sight for elevation and wind age make it fairly easy for person who has not shot a rifle for 48-years to hit the target. The walnut stock gives the rifle an impressive/quality look. In 1969 I was provided with an M-14 for basic training and feel the MA9222 has many similar qualities as the military rifle.
