The Springfield Armory M1A Super Match is a precision-focused, gas-operated semi-automatic rifle built for competitive shooting. Its rear-lugged action is glass-bedded into an oversized Marine Corps Green Camo McMillan fiberglass stock, while the 22-inch Douglas heavy match barrel provides the rigidity and consistency expected from a match-grade platform. The stainless steel barrel uses a 1:10 twist and is fitted with a slotted flash hider. National Match components include a tuned gas cylinder, recoil spring guide, and a 4.5 to 5 pound two-stage trigger. Its hooded rear aperture and .062-inch front blade provide precise iron-sight adjustments, with the rear sight offering 1/2 MOA windage and elevation adjustments. The rifle includes one steel magazine and a black zippered nylon case.
