The Steyr Arms AUG A3 M1 is a compact bullpup rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO and compatible with .223 Remington ammunition. This NATO-stock configuration accepts widely available AR-pattern magazines and includes a 30-round magazine. Its adjustable short-stroke gas-piston system supports reliable operation, while the 16.375-inch cold hammer-forged, nitride-treated barrel provides a durable platform for target shooting, multi-gun competition, and professional applications. The extended Picatinny rail provides flexible mounting space for an optic or other accessories, and standard flip-up sights support immediate use without a mounted optic. A two-position trigger-blocking safety, integral pistol grip, reversible rear sling swivel, and compact 28.15-inch overall length complete the versatile bullpup design.
