Product Overview
The Steyr Arms Scout 26.346.3B is a compact, lightweight bolt-action rifle designed for field versatility, durability, accuracy, and reliable operation. Developed with input from legendary Marine Corps Lt. Col. Jeff Cooper, it features a 19-inch cold hammer-forged fluted barrel and a black synthetic stock. The stock incorporates an integrated bipod, a UIT accessory rail, five sling-swivel attachment points, and storage for an additional magazine. Ghost-ring rear sights and an integrated scope rail support fast target acquisition and optic installation. The rifle accepts .308 Win and 7.62x51 NATO ammunition and includes two 5-round magazines.

Splendid! The Steyr Scout is perfection and needs no review. The service, however, is over the top, as well! Had the gun in less time than it takes to hiccup. The packaging was wonderful and all was well when I unboxed the rifle. Will do business with these good people again. David

Very cool rifle. One...
Very cool rifle. One thing that you can't take from the pictures is that the collapsed bipod foregrip is very broad, so if you have smaller hands like I do, you may find yourself deploying the bipod just to get a better grip on the front of the rifle. not an issue if shooting from a bench or other support, of course. Pop up sights are useless if a scope is attached, unless they make 4" high scope rings I don't know about. Only reasons its not a five star rifle.
