The Taurus CTG29 Carbine is a practical 9mm semi-automatic rifle designed for easy handling and controllable recoil. Its blowback-operated, closed-bolt action is paired with a 16-inch barrel for efficient performance, while the lightweight 6.6-pound design remains manageable for extended use. The aluminum upper receiver features an uninterrupted full-length Picatinny rail for mounting an optic or other accessory. Fixed front and adjustable rear sights provide a dependable factory sighting system, and the convertible charging handle supports right- or left-handed operation. A polymer handguard accepts three additional Picatinny rails for lights, lasers, and other compatible accessories.

functions...
functions great......big heavy bolt assembly w/two recoil springs.......took the plastic sights off asap....junk....put on a red dot and haven't looked back..... two things it needs......after market stock and after market mags that hold more then ten rnds.........these two thing are very limiting for the product..........= major obstacles.....not a hunting rifle w/that caliber so needs to happen....

Finally got my hands...
Finally got my hands on the Taurus 9mm carbine! Couldn't be happier with it. The looks, function, feel, ambidextrous features etc are great. The 1 and only drawback for me is the magazine capacity. But for shooting at the range it's fine. Hardly any felt recoil and easy to get on target with sights provided. Easy to break down and clean. Very pleased with it overall.
