Unhappily I must post...
Unhappily I must post a negative review. I closely examined this rifle at my FFL dealer . The barrel and other metal parts were grease covered and I spent considerable time in the inspection but I should have wiped off all the grease before accepting the rifle. Upon thoroughly cleaning the rifle at home I found an area on the barrel exterior near the receiver that was pitted and rusted. It must have been assembled and shipped in that condition but it was not visible through the grease. To ship a costly rifle in that condition is not ever acceptable. Yes, I am in the process of trying to get the manufacturer to pay for shipping it back to them for replacement of the barrel. So far they are insisting that I must pay the shipping cost. I do not recommend that anyone purchase this firearm, and my current experience with Uberti leads me to suggest that purchase of any Uberti product should be avoided.
