Product Overview
The Winchester Model 70 Featherweight is a controlled-round-feed bolt-action rifle chambered in .308 Win. Its satin-finished, checkered walnut stock provides a classic hunting profile, while the Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad helps reduce felt recoil during extended range sessions and field use. The action is bedded and paired with a free-floating 22-inch barrel to support consistent accuracy. Winchester’s M.O.A. Trigger System is designed with zero take-up, creep, and overtravel, and the three-position safety provides practical control while loading, unloading, and preparing to fire.

Model 70 is my favorite out of the box rifle. This example arrived perfectly, and was another great experience with Buds.

Great gun it arrived...
Great gun it arrived as expected and what can you say about a Winchester it is a beautiful gun. Mounted a Nikon scope and off to the deer lease. Awesome is all I can say. Price was competitive likely $50 less than the local big box.

Once again Buds came...
Once again Buds came through. Not only was the rifle "new in the box," it was also one of the last production year that were made in the USA. This is truely a classic. I waited almost 50 years to get a "pre-64" Model 70. Shades of "Back to the Future," I never expected for it to happen, let alone a half centry later. The rifle speaks for itself. I can only speak to the pleasure of dealing with Buds.
