I've read the other reviews and don't understand what they're talking about. I bought this gun for my 5' 3" daughter as a starter for trap and sporting clays July of 2013. Absolutely love it and she does too. Beautiful fit and finish. A good cleaning and we were off to the range. The only time there has ever been an issue with this shotgun is when it's not been cleaned after ... oh I don't know ... say 500 rounds of target ammo. I did put a limb saver recoil pad on it though, Shortround's not got any meat on her bones.

based on the fact that...
based on the fact that I'm the only one leaving comments, I guess others were smart enough not to purchase this gun... I know I hate reviews by people who comment on how "wonderful Bud's is"... and then leave a 5 star review before they even fire the gun...I don't understand the purpose of such reviews.. so I hope others find my comments helpful... In follow-up to the earlier posting, I've cleaned and used the gun several more times since then ,and am sad to report that it still is a below average gun. I am actually sorry I purchased it.... It still FTF and stovepipes, . Its been cleaned and had enough shells put thru it that it should be 'broken in" - - - and still it continues to fail regularly, and I already commented on its "cheap apperance"... i guess I should be glad i got it before the price went up!!! There you have it... Despite the decent things I've heard and read about CZ, I'll never purchase another product from them. I'll stick with my Berreta's, Remingtons and S&Ws....

I realize when your...
I realize when your paying under $400 for a semi auto shot gun that it's not the 'cream of the crop', but I'm disappointed... here is my experience - -The "turkish walnut' looks like plastic laminant - FIt and finish are "fair" -The gun had several failures to feed and a couple of stove pipes. I hope that with a cleaning and oiling these problems cease. All in all, you get what you pay for. I think I would have been better off spending twice the amount and getting something I really wanted, and getting it from a local dealer 'just in case' of any issues... I used the gun for sporting clays, which I've been told may not be the best application for this "field gun", so that is my own fault, and the only reason I did not rate this a 1 star gun. I'd like to see what any other's have to say regarding their experience with this particular CZ - please share...
