Description
Product Overview
The GForce Arms Filthy Pheasant Youth is a compact over-under hunting shotgun chambered in 28 Gauge. Its 24-inch barrels and youth-length stock create a balanced platform that is easier to maneuver in the field and more comfortable for smaller-framed shooters. The break action delivers simple, dependable operation, while the two-barrel configuration provides a quick follow-up shot for upland hunting. A bead front sight supports instinctive target acquisition, and the camouflage finish complements its field-oriented design. The shotgun accepts 3-inch shells and holds two rounds, one in each chamber. This model is supplied with fixed factory chokes rather than interchangeable choke tubes.

Excellent little youth...
Excellent little youth gun. Stiff when new but once broken in it works great. My 10 year old has used it on multiple dove and upland hunts. Performs great everytime.

Very nice little...
Very nice little shotgun. Well built with good fit and finish. The wood on the example that I received was quite nice. It's light and swings and points well. If you have ever broken clays or hunted quail with a "28" you know that you have to be right on target. Excellent gun/gauge to hone your shotgun skills. I liken it to practicing for a game of 301 with ultra light balsa darts, every little movement is transmitted to the dart. A light "28" is the same. You don't horse it, you finesse it. In short, I like this shotgun very much and it has become a favorite of my wife at the range. That said, it was spectacularly stiff right out of the box. I cleaned the mating surfaces, smeared on a dab of gun grease and spent a couple of episodes of BofB working the action, full open, full closed. That loosed it up quite a bit and then a few rounds of clays. That really helped. All in all I highly recommend this shotgun.

Its actually a pretty...
Its actually a pretty nice gun for the money. If your trying to get your kid into hunting this is a great starter into the over under world. Not many options for youth model anything and i commend them for making a youth over and under. Will it last 10000 rounds. Probably not. But all in all the wood is nice ,atleast on mine. The finish is decent ( im going to tru oil the stock here eventually ) But the price point is perfect. Ive shot about 200 rounds out of it with no issues. I wouldnt hesitate to buy one .
