The Mossberg 940 Pro Turkey is a 12 Gauge semi-automatic hunting shotgun configured for close-cover turkey hunting. Its compact 18.5-inch vent rib barrel carries a Mossy Oak Greenleaf finish and pairs with an X-Factor XX-Full Turkey choke tube for a dedicated turkey setup. The receiver is cut for direct mounting of Shield RMSc-pattern micro red dots, and this configuration includes an olive Holosun HS407K. A HIVIZ CompSight fiber optic front sight provides a bright conventional aiming reference. The adjustable stock offers a length of pull from 13 inches to 14.25 inches, with adjustable drop at comb and cast to help tailor fit. A tang-mounted manual safety is accessible from either side, while the self-draining stock and quick-empty magazine release support practical field use.

This is an excellent...
This is an excellent turkey gun. Love the size and weight. So far no problems cycling light target loads or heavy tss turkey loads. Factory choke is plenty sufficient but I did choose to replace it with an Indian Creek .660. The reason for the four star review is that when the Holosun sight was installed from the factory there is enough play that the sight was installed just a hair out of square, not even visible to the eye. So in my initial attempt to zero the optic I ran out of horizontal adjustment. Reinstalling the mount corrected the problem.

I am buying this in the fall so want use for turkey until spring but will use this winter for predators as well . I'm a browning guy and felt a little weird buying this mossberg but have been watching and reading about it since it came out . Love buds laway program so I went ahead and purchased . This thing pattern extremely well longbeard XR and #4 buck for predators with longbeard with the factory turkey choke it came with and the #4 buck with a Carlson predator choke . The gun is extremely small and will be handy to use , patterned well and it's a really nice feature having the optics cut in the receiver instead of a rail mount feels nature , awesome purchase
