Beautiful AK! Don't need to change anything at all!

Much like Federal's American Eagle 9mm ammo, these give a similar shooting experience to Federal HST self defense loads. Great for practice if you load HST when you carry. The polymer jacket keeps your barrel and slide a little cleaner longer for less necessity to clean your pistol as much and supposedly causes less fouling. They are reliable, shoot straight and are great for indoor range practice, because they are lead free. Really a toss-up between these and the 147 American Eagles which are pretty much the standard of the industry, but you may be more comfortable using the Eagles for longer proven reliability, or more comfortable with the cleaner and lead free Syntechs.

American Eagle is pretty much standard of the industry in whatever grain weight you choose. That's because they are reliably made and go bang each time. They are fairly clean burning, priced fairly and shoot accurately, while giving you the same shooting experience you'd get with the same grain count of Federal HST self defense rounds, also standard of the industry in its category. Great for range practice and all-around use, aside perhaps for self defense itself. Shoots very well in both my micro and compact 9mm pistols. 147's are just my personal preference.
