Although I haven't had the chance to fire this yet, if it's anything like our M16s in the Army for 20 years, I have no doubts it will be fine. Love the 6-position stock. It's perfect for when put a gel pad on the end. Added a scope and bore sighted it. The only thing that bugged me was trying to get the rear pop-up sight removed. I watch a couple vids and none of them worked getting it off, so I left it on. Just can't use it with the scope.

Fit and finish of the revolver I received is very good for the price. Trigger has a bit of a creep before engaging but is nice once you get there. Only comes with two moon clips, cheap bums, but they are available from multiple sources. I had this item in layaway from Bud's at the lowest price out there….same great Bud's service. Looking forward to seeing how it groups.

Great pistol,no problems very accurate

My wife had been carrying my Grandpa's.S&W .32 for the past twenty years. She wanted a .38 and I was concerned about the additional power but went ahead and bought her this pistol for her birthday and she loves it. I am surprised that the recoil is much lighter than I anticipated. She's had no problem controlling it and of course she likes the stainless frame and pink grips.After firing this 642 I liked it so much I ordered myself a model 638. S&W still makes solid handguns and Buds is still the best place to get the best prices on new firearms.

Wow. I own several AKs and ARs but they'll be staying home when I go to the range from now on. Not a single jam in the 200 rounds I fired using a variety of brass cased FMJ ammo and 3 different 20 round mags (Lancer mags fit the best). The factory BUIS are more than adequate. After a slight adjustment I was hitting small pieces of broken clay pigeons at 100 yards easily. In its stock form the rifle is totally acceptable...BUT the Manticore curved butt pad makes it shoulder that much better. The factory trigger reminds me of a Glock trigger. I switched out the stock trigger pack yesterday for the Geissele and it made a night and day difference. You won't need their trigger bow- trust me. As usual- great service from Bud's. Buy this bullpup. You'll thank me later.

Truly love this gun. It shot very well and didn't have the kick like I thought it would have. Being short will have it's advantages when packing into the back country to hunt.
